Hotness of Now

Ok, it's been a while since I've posted anything so I'm slightly copying my bff. (Thanks DD for your constant texts and threats of encouragement.) Anyway, she made a list of some of our current eye candy and categorized them by type. (Yes, we are constantly sometimes shallow.) So I decided to go a step further and make a list of ALL of my favorites. This list, with exception of the Twi-guys, are only from television. It would've been entirely too long to list men from movies as well. It's way too long as it is!

Alright, so without further ado, I give you my favorite eye candies of Now.



OBVIOUS:
What that means is that, in my opinion, it is obvious that these guys are hot. I do, however, believe there is one that outshines the others seeing as how every female and even one straight man I know thinks he's hot, without a doubt.

That man, my friends is Jensen Ackles, aka Dean Winchester of Supernatural.

I dare someone to argue!...Moving on...

Jared Padalecki, aka Sam Winchester of Supernatural.

I find myself alone in my fascination of this man when talking amongst my lovies, but oh well.

It's obvious to me and it's my list! ::stomps foot petulantly::

Chace Crawford, aka Nate Archibald of Gossip Girl

I know some people think he's 'too pretty', but seriously, SERIOUSLY!?

And my final Obvious choice is Kellan Lutz, aka Emmett Cullen of the Twilight Saga.

If anyone disagrees with me on this one, you have to be clinically insane! Actually, to disagree with my opinion of any of these first four men, you'd have to be insane. =)

CHARACTER:
This is for all the men who play characters that I fell in love with.

First up is Ian Somerhalder, aka Damon Salvatore of The Vampire Diaries.

Now, I had never really heard of him before this show came out, but after getting acquainted with Damon, I quickly fell in the shallow end. I know DD is right there with me doing the doggie paddle. ;)

Second, is Alexander Skarsgard, aka Eric Northman of True Blood. 

This is yet another actor I'd never heard of, and frankly, if I'd seen him in anything else prior to TB, I probably wouldn't have liked him then either. BUT, he plays a character that I had already loved from the books, therefore he's gold. However, I wish, wish, wish he'd be pink! As in, pink lycra pants!!

We should start a petition for the lycra pants! Who's with me?

Next is Eddie Cahill, aka Detective Don Flack of CSI:NY.
He's definitely not a nation wide heartthrob at the moment, but I heart him very much. ::nods:: 
In my opinion, (which all of this is just my opinion, but still) he's attractive and I love his accent. 



There are more men that fit in this category, but they are better suited for another one. So, last in the Character category is Logan Marshall Green, aka Dean Bendis of Dark Blue.
Now, I had absolutely never heard of him before the show Dark Blue came on, but I'm incredibly happy I know of him now. It's really his character that I love. He's got attitude and style. (See aviator sunglasses) He's rough around the edges, I love his voice, and you can tell he has a soft side underneath. Now, if he'd just share it with my girl Jamie (Nikki Aycox) on the show. hehe. 

MUSIC:

This category, obviously, is for the guys that are musically talented. Like the last category, there are some that fit into this one as well as another. It's not important, but I'll mention their music in the other categories too. 

First and foremost in this category is Matt Giraud of American Idol Season 8. 
Can someone tell me why this guy doesn't have a record deal yet? Seriously, he's amazing. I saw him live last summer at American Idols Live with - my bestie - DD and her sister, a former indian child. ;)
Anyway, I love his voice, his style and possibly most importantly (but not really) his bubble tweets! 


Fedora or not, I heart Matty G!  


Second in Music is Adam Lambert of American Idol Season 8.
So, yea, he rocks make up and fashion better than I could ever dream to and...he's gay. Does that matter? No. Ok, back to it. Obviously, having seen MG on tour, we also got to see Adam and boy does he deliver. His set was by far the best. I. Cannot. Wait. To. See. Him. In. Concert. Again. Does that explain how great I think he is? It really should. ::nods::

Ok, I know this picture doesn't much show him other than his fabulous theatrics, but how great is this picture? 


Last in Music is Anoop Desai of American Idol Season 8.
He's my home boy and he loves me. 

Wait, how'd this get added to the list? ::beats subconscious with a baseball bat::

ADORABLE:

I think this is self explanatory. 

There's really only one person that I have to fit into this category and that's Adam Brody of various things. 

He was in The O.C. which I rarely ever watched and he's been in a few movies I've seen. (Ok, a couple.) But, I saw him in In The Land Of Women a couple of weeks ago and it reminded me of his adorableness. There's really no other way I can think to describe him. The man is 30 years old, but he's pretty dang adorable. 

FYI - adorable is sexy.

ASSOCIATION:

This category is for the men that I started liking mostly because of their association to someone else I like. 

Christian Kane, aka Eliot Spencer of Leverage.

His association is Jensen Ackles. I started liking him even before Leverage came on, but now I really heart Eliot! But, CK is country and proud of it! This is one of those that fits into different categories. He would also fit under Character and Music. 

I chose this picture because I love that shirt and he rocks the cowboy hat without looking like a dork. I left Amy Acker in it because I felt bad when I initially cropped her out. For serious.

Next is Misha Collins, aka Castiel of Supernatural.  

(He also had a very interesting role on Nip/Tuck. You should look it up on Youtube.)

I adore this man. He's so funny. (I follow him on Twitter.) I actually didn't care for the character of Castiel all that much at first, but now he's evolved and I love him. His association, obviously, is Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki of Supernatural.

I chose two pictures because I understand that some women may not be able to handle a lederhosen wearing Misha, and that's ok, really. However, that's how I prefer him. He also has an interesting picture of himself on a mountain that you can find in one of his tweets. ;)

Last in Association is Paul Wesley, aka Stefan Salvatore of The Vampire Diaries.

So, this is another person I'd never heard of until they were on a show I like. Sure, I think he's attractive, but really I wouldn't think so as much were it not for his association to Ian Somerhalder. I don't know what it is. That's weird. Now, I sound like I really don't think he's attractive, but I do, I swear. He's just not at the top of my list. But, hm...I'm thinking and he's moving up. Ok. moving on.

I DON'T GET IT:

This is for DD. I still have yet to see what's so great about him. I still have to watch the show and then I'll probably love him or something, but until then he's the only person in my 'I don't get it' category.

Josh Holloway, aka James "Sawyer" Ford of Lost.

I discovered one thing that I think could be holding me back from seeing the hotness. He did ads for "Clearwater", aka Cool Water cologne and for some reason I've always disliked it. I don't know why and I realize that's really dumb of me to say, but I can't help that. :)

WHO KNOWS?:

Not I. These are guys that I really like and I don't know why. Well, not exactly why. 

Robert Pattinson, aka Edward Cullen of the Twilight Saga.

I love his hair. Period. It's just crazy great hair. That's what it is and that's all I can say... Oh, I lied. I just want to mention the funniest thing I've heard him say in an interview. (Q: What sound would cheese make if it could make a sound?) "Eeek." ::laughs:: "No, that's just a mouse, that's rubbish." Yes, I know you aren't laughing, or if you are, it's at me, but I thought it was hella funny.

I also love this picture which is really weird considering I don't smoke and think it's nasty, but yea. :)    

Jackson Rathbone, aka Jasper Whitlock Hale of the Twilight Saga.

Ok, so looking at this guy, he's not obviously attractive, but I am really into him. I don't know why, there's really no explaining it. Something calls to me though. Intrigue. ::dork:: He could also be listed under Music. And, hopefully I will get to see him perform sometime because his band (100 Monkeys) is coming to my town on their 100 city tour and my sister has volunteered to go with me! ::dances::

SQUICKY:

This is for the one person that it slightly bothers me that I even like them.

Taylor Lautner, aka Jacob Black of the Twilight Saga.

So, he goes in the Squicky category because he's barely a man! Dude is 17 years old. He of all people should be in the Adorable category, but no. Look at him, adorable is not the word. ::sigh::

OLD ENOUGH TO HAVE BEEN MY FATHER:

Now, this group of men are all over the age of 40. I'm 25, so technically, they are old enough to be my dad. ::gulp:: Also, all of these men could go into the Character category, but I put them separate because they are old geezers. ;)

  Dylan McDermott, aka Lt. Carter Shaw of Dark Blue.

At 48 he is the oldest of this category. I have always thought him attractive, but after seeing him as Carter on DB I really like him.

Michael Weatherly, aka Special Agent Anthony DiNozzo of NCIS.
I was shocked when I saw that he is 41! I thought 35 at the most. Oh, well. Anyway, I have liked MW ever since he was Logan Cale on Dark Angel and I'm still loving him all these years later. His character on NCIS is hilarious! I can't get enough.

 Simon Baker, aka Patrick Jane of The Mentalist.
I love Patrick Jane. He's so funny and ridiculously smart, observant, you can't get anything by him. I love watching him work out the cases. (I speak as if PJ is a real person, it's fine. I'm not really crazy.) But, to add to the reason I like him so much, he's so tortured. That generally speaking, as far as reality is concerned, wouldn't be a good thing, but I have a thing for tortured characters. Just go back and see the rest of my list. Could they be more tortured!?

He owns that motorcycle, suit and all!


And for the final man on my list: David Boreanaz, aka Special Agent Seeley Booth of Bones.
I used to watch Buffy and I saw the occasional episode of Angel, but I never just got it. Sure, I thought he was attractive, but I always loved Spike more. That was until I saw him in Bones. I love Booth!...and I love his son Parker! (Yes, I'm speaking as if they are real again....Let's move on.) To me, Special Agent Seeley Booth is the perfect man. He's funny, smart, he soooo loves Brennan (I can't wait for them to get together!) and on top of all that! He wears stripy socks and has a 'Cocky' belt buckle that he wears with his suits. If that's not perfect I don't know what is. (Aside from my husband. hehe.)

 
Perfect. Period.

Alright, well, there's my list! It took entirely too long of my life to make it so I hope at least one person (other than DD, because I know she will) enjoys it. At some point after many more threats, I might make one for 'movie' actors. Until then, please, please, PLEASE! leave a comment and let me know what you think of my choices. Who did I leave out?
