Alright, so, I've decided this will be short. There's really no point to it at all because no one reads my little ol' blog anyway...
Finally, someone I wanted to go home actually went home. Paige could sing well, but she just wasn't showing that. Bad performances, followed by bad song choice after bad song choice, proved to be her downfall. I was just surprised that Andrew skated through, yet again, without being in the bottom three. My husband and I were right about Paige and Tim, though. That's something.
I actually liked the group performance this week. "Wake Me Up Before You Go Go" (or whatever it's actually called) makes me nostalgic for an old Goofy cartoon. I can't remember what it was about, but I just know when I hear that song, I think Goofy. =)
Miley was horrible. Her voice sounded strained and she looked like she was in some major pain the whole time. She's not a good live performer, at all. I thought Joe and Demi did a much better job even though I didn't think they did great. They did look cute together though. Aw, costars in love. Blah. I get so tired of costars dating each other.
I saw Siobhan's friends in the audience at the beginning and was trying to figure out why someone would dress that way to go to the Idol results show. All I could think when they showed them later and said they were "Siobombies" (or however you would spell that) was "At least they have a purpose." It's still a little weird. But whatever.
So, next week they have a more worthy mentor: Usher. R&B week should be good for Big Mike and even Katie. Any week is good for Crystal, Siobhan, and even Didi (at least in my eyes,) but I'm interested to see what the others will do.
What did you think about the results this week?

well it was time for Paige to go for sure..
can't believe Andrew got off so lightly this week..shocking! Katie did not deserve to be in the bottom 3 at all.
Miley did ok but Demi and Joe were far better..I thought Demi's voice was really strong.
I hated Miley's dress. Way too old for a 17 year old to be wearing.
I thought Simon was mean the way he cut off Paige and didn't let her sing again. I know it was honest , but it felt too harsh .
I actually didn't like the group performance this week - and this comes from a huge Wham fan..lol - but I like to remember the song in its original state with George Michael dancing around the stage in his florescent t-shirt and shorts..:)
I'd also like to say that I really liked Casey this week even though he's rigidly stuck to the centre of the stage with that blasted guitar, plus I like Huey Lewis songs so I'm biased. lol..
roll on next week. I want Tim to come out and blow them away. I would also like to see what Andrew is going to do. Everyone else is pretty safe for the time being in my opinion so these 2 guys will have to seriously up their game.
and see..somebody does read your little 'ol blog..I look forward to hearing your opinions every week...
Yay! I have at least one fan. hehe.
I hated Miley's dress too. Or, well, I didn't hate it, but like you said it was too old for her. I saw her once before, I think on AI last year singing The Climb, and she wore the same kind of dress.
I could see how it was a little rude the way he cut her off, but really I think it was sort of better bc then she didn't have to get her hopes up when they were already decided. & I read that she was basically blaming the judges and her being sick the week before for her being voted off. Suck it up!
You crack me up with your love for George Michael.
I agree with you that most are pretty safe, but I'm just ready for Andrew to go home at this point...I'm predicting the bottom 3 for next week now: Andrew, Tim, and Katie.
Thanks for reading!
