AN: I wrote this last year right after the finale and posted it elsewhere, but I'm slowly reposting my writing here just bc it gives me a false sense of accomplishment. Humor me.

In the distance, I hear the pleas of my brother. He says we need to go, but I stand here in awe at the opening of His broken cage. My mind is racing. I’m frozen.
We started this. Dean the beginning, me the end. The world will change. For the better? For the worse?
He is Lucifer.
He is Satan.
He is the Adversary.
He is the Devil.
He is the Morning Star.
He is the Light Bringer.
He is my Savior.
He is risen.
He is before us.
The new world begins. Now. I know it will be beautiful.

AN: I know, I know. That was really repetitive... Anyway, I know that's not how things happened, but from early on while watching Supernatural, I wanted Sam to go dark side. Maybe not irrevocably so, but still I wanted to see him get there.
